Back up, isolate, restore—then report the smallest failure.

The wizard separates base-game, loader, package-layout, post-patch, and individual-mod failures. It never uploads logs or recommends deleting the only copy of anything.

1 · Preserve

Close everything and copy saves before changing the mod set.

2 · Separate

Test base game, stable loader, then small mod groups in that order.

3 · Report

Share the minimal version list, exact error, and reproduction with the right author.

Isolate the failing layer without deleting anything.

Choose what you have already observed. The result prioritizes backup, reversible isolation, a clean launch, and the right author contact.

Restore the unmodified path

  1. Keep the save backup separate.
  2. Move optional mod folders to a holding folder; do not delete them.
  3. Use MOMI's Uninstall action when appropriate.
  4. Use storefront file verification, then launch once unmodified.

Keep logs local by default

Record game, MOMI, and mod versions; exact error text; platform; and the smallest reproducing set. Remove usernames or personal folder paths before sharing. The wizard stores only dropdown answers in localStorage.
